The Taxback Group launches GroupLife!
This week, The Taxback Group globally launched GroupLife, our brand new health and wellbeing program for staff!
In what’s been an incredibly positive start to the year for The Taxback Group, the launch of this new health and wellbeing program comes alongside the recent launch of our employee recognition program and our new and improved CSR program which celebrates it’s 10th anniversary this year.
All across The Taxback Group’s global presence, employee engagement is paramount. With numerous charity, social, professional events happening all year-round, the new GroupLife program seeks to bring everything together, streamlining and improving all the great activity that takes place with staff here each and every day.
To launch this new program, we held our annual Health & Wellbeing week, packed with tonnes of various activities to promote healthy minds, healthy bodies, and healthy worklife balance.
Throughout the course of the week we held information sessions across a wide variety of topics. We were delighted to host Sharon O’ Gorman from Cois Nore Cancer Services, Craig McInerney from FFS, Liam Nagle from FlyeFit Ranelagh, and Gerry Grehan (Performance Coach), who all gave motivating and educational talks to our staff. Thanks to our HR Director, Stephen Hickey, too for giving us a hugely motivating talk on Mental Fitness!
Our healthy smoothie mornings also went down a treat, as staff had the chance to sample their favourite fruity snacks on Thursday morning. No mess, no spills, just empty glasses and smiles all round!
And of course, who could forget our Team Rowing Challenge. We pitted teams of staff against each other for some healthy competition, to row their hearts out for some prizes! Our rowing machine, kindly donated by Hotel Kilkenny was put through it’s paces as 9 teams of 4 each gave it their all. Congratulations to Ian Hayes and Rebecca Callanan for their record times, and to the winning PayToStudy team too!
