The Taxback Group sponsors Jack & Jill Kilkenny Cycle!

The Taxback Group is honoured to officially announce our sponsorship of this year’s Jack & Jill Kilkenny Cycle.

The Jack & Jill Kilkenny Cycle asks people to get on their bike on Saturday September 16th for this picturesque and energetic 100km or 66km trip across the county, with all proceeds going to the provision of home nursing respite care and support to sick children locally and nationally.

As long-term supporters of the charity, The Taxback Group today presented CEO of Jack & Jill, Hugo Jellett, with a cheque for €10,000 to sponsor this terrific family event, and to provide additional funds to the many families the charity helps each and every day.

“The Jack & Jill Foundation is a charity very close to our hearts here at The Taxback Group, and we hope that their Kilkenny Cycle this year is bigger and better than ever before” said Eoin Lyons, Chairman of the Charity Committee at The Taxback Group. “The service they provide is heartwarming, and we wish them continued success.”

Registration is now open on www.jackandjill.ie for  this professionally organised, fully insured and Cycling Ireland approved cycle. The cycle starts and finishes at O’Loughlin Gaels GAA Club, Hebron Road, Kilkenny with refreshment en route and hot food served at the finish line.  There are also a limited number of cycling jerseys available to purchase online for €20.

Launching the cycle Hugo Jellett, CEO of Jack & Jill thanked the Taxback Group for their support and accepted the cheque for €10,000 saying:

“The Taxback Group are an active member of the Jack & Jill extended family and help us raise awareness and funds through initiatives like the Kilkenny Cycle.   This year’s cycle coincides with Jack & Jill’s 20th Anniversary and the charity has supported 2,300 families over the years, including 47 families in Kilkenny and 36 families in Carlow through a vital service that operates 365 days a year, with no waiting list and no means test.  Just pure and simple support for families who need it. Good luck to everyone and thank you for your continued support!”
