The Taxback Group CSR program shortlisted for Kilkenny Award!
The Taxback Group are delighted to announce that their global Corporate Social Responsibility Program has been shortlisted for a Kilkenny Chamber Business Award.
At The Taxback Group, Corporate Social Responsibility is a vital part of our remit. In each of the communities in which our offices are based, we strive to make a difference. We have a global team of CSR champions who work on fundraising and teambuilding activities to help local charities. This year our program has helped over 30 charities across the world, from our Irish and Bulgarian offices to as far as our offices in USA, Peru and Australia.
Eoin Lyons, chairman of The Taxback Group CSR Committee, said that ‘this is a huge achievement for myself, my fellow committee members Marcie Green and Olivia Sexton, our global CSR Champions, and every single staff member across our global offices. Giving back to our local communities is something which is hugely important across our group, and we’re delighted to recognise the efforts of everyone here in creating something to be proud of.’
The Chamber Awards adjudication panel examined over 150 applications and shortlisted 3 finalists in each respective category. Kilkenny Chamber of Commerce CEO, John Hurley said that he was ‘delighted that so many diverse local businesses have engaged with the Kilkenny Business Awards this year. The standard of application was particularly high and an exceptional group of finalists have been shortlisted.’
