Meet the team: Stela Miladinova, Administrative Specialist

We chatted to Stela Miladinova who has been working as an Administrator in our TransferMate team since November 2020. Check out what she had to share with us below.
Please tell us a bit about yourself! My name is Stela Miladinova. I have been working for TransferMate since November 2020. In my previous employment I had the chance to communicate with thousands of people from different countries, cultures and religions, which now helps me tremendously with my role here as part of a multinational team.
Could you tell us more about your role in the company and what does a typical day look like for you.
Basically, I support the TransferMate Admin and TransferMate Education Support teams. My work includes various administrative tasks: I’m sending payment notifications to students and partners, answering the requests of the sales agents, creating reports, and filling in data in our database.
What three personal traits help you the most in your current role?
Being reliable, organized, and flexible is what helps me not only in my current role, but also in my life in general.
What’s your best memory in the company to date?
The best memory I have to date is when I started in the company back in November 2020. I must say I immediately felt welcomed. Despite the fact that we’re working remotely, I was able to adapt very quickly. Since then, I have learned many new things in areas I previously had very little experience in. This has been a big challenge for me but also a very rewarding experience.
What’s the most important thing you’ve learned since joining Taxback Group?
There are so many things that I have learned throughout the last couple of months. The most important thing however, is that I realized that I have joined a company that treats everyone on the team like family. It feels like we are part of something bigger, and you can definitely say that we are stronger together.
If you could give someone who was starting out in their career one piece of advice, what would it be?
Nothing is as difficult as it seems. Everyone can do great things, you just need to believe in yourself and be inspired.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I would like to learn more new things, gain knowledge and improve my skills, and to grow professionally. I would love make the most out of this professional opportunity and to show what I am capable of.
What does being part of #OneTeam mean to you?
For me, working as #OneTeam means that there is a great/equal alignment within and between the various teams in the company. When everyone is aware of their role in the whole process and sees the bigger picture, things become so much easier. We carry the overall load equally, we share common goals and tasks every day, and this helps us to easily bring new ideas and positive energy. We’re open and honest about our performance, and this helps us to learn and grow together.
I am so happy to be part of the amazing #OneTeam culture here at Taxback Group because we can share our ideas and do great things together. We share our successes and failures. We learn and grow together. That’s what #OneTeam means to me.
