Taxback Group`s career counselling program helps students ignite their professional dreams and aspirations
The first cycle of Taxback Group’s career counselling program took place in Varna High School of Commerce during the academic 2018-2019 year. The program aims to help young people in high school to acquire and develop specific skills that will help them get the best out of career exploration, job search and the job application process. The students learned how to prepare impressive CV and video resumes, how to prepare for job interviews and how to find the most compelling job offers on the market.
The final stage of our career counselling program took place on the 31st of May 2019 and involved mentors from Taxback Group presenting some of the current vacancies within the company to the students. The mentors then conducted job interviews with the students based on these vacancies to evaluate the skills that they acquired over the year.
Militsa Daskalova, Recruitment Specialist at Taxback Group, Adriyana Miteva, Founder and Director of Advance Academy and Nikola Tsankov, Deputy Director of Varna High School of Commerce evaluated the students. The students that performed the best were awarded a scholarship with Taxback Group, and they also have the opportunity to participate in the Summer Students IT Academy which is organised by our partners, Advanced Academy.
Our Career Counselling Program is something that we’re incredibly proud of and it even scooped the “Innovation in Talent Education” Award at the second B2B Media Employer Branding Awards which were held in Sofia last February. We couldn’t be any happier with the results and each and every student that took part genuinely exceeded our expectations. We’re already looking forward to the next cycle of the program!
